Class styles

Bikram 90 minutes
Bikram Yoga is the original hot yoga! Consisting of 26 postures (asanas) and 2 breathing exercises in a heated room – it’s time to get sweaty.
Bikram Yoga classes are heated to 40 degrees and 40% humidity in order to warm your body and encourage detoxification.

90 mins  I  40 C  I  Suitable for all levels

Bikram Express
A 60 minute version of the traditional Bikram class … just as hot and sweaty, and still with 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises! Although this class is suitable for beginners, we recommend that those new to Bikram try the 90 minute class first as it is a slightly slower pace and easier to follow.

60 mins  I  40 C  I  Suitable for all levels – see description above re: beginners.

Yin Yoga
Yin is a slow paced style of yoga with postures and asanas held for a long period of time. Suitable for all students and designed to improve flexibility, increase circulation, and relax the mind.

60 mins  I  no heat  I  Suitable for all levels

Yoga Flow (Vinyasa)
Vinyasa is an athletic style of yoga where the body moves in connection with the breath with continuous movement known as a ‘flow’ from one asana to the next. Vinyasa is the style most commonly known just as “Yoga”.

50 or 60 mins  I  24C  I  Suitable for all levels

Hot Yoga Flow (Vinyasa)
A Vinyasa based flow class like above, but with added heat, because some like it hot!

50 or 60 mins  I  30 – 32C  I  Suitable for all levels

Hot Pilates – NEW!
An upbeat class consisting of traditional mat pilates exercises, plus a mix of high-intensity interval training (HIIT) and light weights to strengthen your core and tone your body. Conducted in a 34 degree room, it will be one of the best workouts you’ve had… you’ll leave feeling energised and inspired!

50 mins  I  34 – 36 C I  Suitable for all levels

Mat Pilates – NEW!
Got a mat? You are ready to go! A series of controlled and sometimes weight resisted movement to build strength and stability. If you don’t know where your core abdominal muscles are, you will after mat pilates!

45 mins  I  no heat  I  Suitable for all levels

Relaxation and Meditation
A gentle class designed to connect body, breath and mind. This is a no-movement class, simply get comfortable in a lying or seated position as you are guided through a simple breathing exercise and a guided meditation / relaxation.
